Lights, Camera, Action…! The Blockbuster Bible: The Teacher’s Cut is the perfect way to teach with The Blockbuster Bible.

The Teacher’s Cut (published February 2020) applies The Blockbuster Bible to any teaching context and children aged 7-11. It is written with schools, churches, and home-schooling in mind. Your quick way from zero to hero.

Following the movie theme, the book’s Prologue introduces how teachers may use The Blockbuster Bible. There are many ways to plan out the course, and suggestions are duly offered. Teachers can personalise a course for their own context.

The Three Themes – Living with God, God’s Promises, and God’s Rescue – and the Twenty-four Scenes are individually explored in detail, ready to get up and go. 

Bible teaching lends itself beautifully to cross-curricular links with Drama. A two-page guide to Acting in the Classroom is included, as are several acting activities that teachers can use, repeat, and adapt.

PRODUCTION NOTES

Teachers can explore each scene with all the help they need. And no previous experience in the Bible is necessary.

  • Sheets are designed to work closely with The Blockbuster Bible.

  • Page references are included to aid the users.

  • Get going with crosswords and sorting activities, and review the Bible story with Theme Round-Ups and Scene Cards pages.

  • Eighteen FLEXI-TASKS are included among the sheets. These are activities unspecific to a particular character or story and can be used in any unit. Flexible templates for anything.
